BSR Aviation Team
Since its formation, Blue Sky Rescue (BSR) Aviation Team has become one of the most active aviation rescue teams for volunteering search and rescue missions. The team has completed dozens of air rescue missions, drills, and training sessions using 14 different helicopter models. With a fully developed course system and certification program, BSR is committed to building a global network of civilian air rescue system.
BSR's journey into aviation rescue began when the team researched the feasibility of civilian rescue teams participating in air rescue. BSR delegation visited the Hong Kong Government Flying Service, Beijing & Shanghai Aviation Teams to study air rescue techniques. BSR sent representatives to train in Oregon, USA, and the French Alps, receiving training from ARS in the USA and Priority 1 Air Rescue, gaining hands-on experience in helicopter operations.
Helicopter rescue is vital for reaching areas inaccessible by land or water. It facilitates search and rescue operations, supply transport, and aerial command, making it one of the most efficient emergency rescue methods worldwide.
